A spin-off of Robot Wars: Extreme Warriors, the US version of Robot Wars. Filmed at the same time as the second season of Extreme Warriors, the one-off series ran for six episodes, and featured competitor robots from both seasons of Extreme Warriors and Series 5 of the UK series, including loaner bots lent to some of the teams that had also competed in Extreme Warriors. As with the Minor Meltdown, the competitor robots were driven by children. Like Extreme Warriors, Nickelodeon Robot Wars was filmed in the main Robot Wars Arena in London, despite being for an American audience and featuring US series competitors.

Based on the popular video game series, this futuristic anime feature follows the plight of the Earth Federation, the last group of human beings on the planet, who are forced to defend themselves from elimination at the hands of an alien invasion. In a very psychedelic, pop art-inspired "room", we see to the right two picture frames with two fists made to look like faces (wearing a hat, some googly eyes, and painted-on "lips") and to the left a picture frame with the Nick logo in it. Two eyes, glasses, dentures and a tie drop down to the middle of the screen and float and bounce around while remaining in place to look like a face. As the colors of the background and even the Nick picture frame continually flash and change throughout the bumper, the fists do the "Nick Nick Nick" section of the Nickelodeon theme, with the Pinchface saying "Nickelodeon" (as it does this, the picture frame reads "Nickelodeon" instead of "Nick"). After the second time the Pinchface says "NickelOOOOOOdeOOOOON!", an orange background with "Nickelodeon" on it flashes three times.
